Poem

Come Back
by: Jaron Brown

I look up in the sky the moon dark,
I feel the cold wind in the air,
Just like this morning, but not like the afternoon.
Diversity like the morning and afternoon both different in many ways.
"What happened to the day" why can't it come back? I guess not.
But I hope it's not tomorrow like it was today.

School Projects

Oh how we love school projects. We love waiting until the night before to put everything together.
This year one of Nathan's big projects was a 6 sided 3D cube. He had to come up with things that described him and his family. We (Nathan and I) had a fun time putting everything together. Finally my hard work paid off he got an "A" on the project. His teacher loved the lettering. I'm so glad that my very expensive hobby "habit" as Kory calls it helped him get an "A"

This year was Jaron's 1st science project (believe me I can't wait until it's his last) He had fun determining if Cleats were faster than tennis shoes way to go Jaron great job!

Jaron got the terrific kid award not once but twice this year, 1st from his teacher and then he received one from his P.E. teacher

Don't think that Amandee didn't have any projects this year it just that I didn't take a picture of her research paper that was on adoption international vs. domestic.

Church Ball

Once again Amandee had to have her Mom coach her basketball team. But we had a really fun season, our teams nickname was the "orange Crush" we were undefeated during the stake play, and we lost in the semi finals in Region play. Way to be high scorer Amandee,(most games she out scored the other team by herself)

This past basketball season was pretty fun.....Nathan got to play church ball for the first time. Our ward was mostly 12 years old with a few older boys, it was a very long season for some but it was fun watching Nathan play against 16-17 years old. Great job Nathan!

Nathan shooting one of my many 3 pointers.... he was the 3rd leading scorer on the team

Getting dressed up and having fun

It was so nice this Halloween season because my kids came up with their own costumes

Amandee was a blast from the past...she found her outfit in Kory's closet

Nathan was a pro ping pong player

Jaron was Ichiro Suzuki

We lived in Utah for 4 years and not once did my kids get a snow day.
Our 1st winter in Washington we have already had 2 snowdays.
Amandee and Nathan building their very 1st snowman. Great job

Whoville hair day at the High School

Football

Jaron stated the flagfoot ball season as the runningback and kick off returner. By the 3 game he was moved from runningback to the quarterback. He had some great plays Return a kickoff of a TD and he threw for 2 TD's and ran for 2 more. He has a great season.

I used to think that watching football in the snow was the worse well..... I have decided that watching football in the rain in worse because of the way they come home. Very dirty! Oh but Jaron loved every minute of it!!

Nathan played flag football this season for his Jr. High team. He played against some very big kids, but he held his own. Nathan played D-line and linebacker. They only thing that he broke was.........his glasses.

Great Season Nathan and Jaron!! It was a lot of fun watching you play football
