Toothless

Jaron finally lost his front tooth. It was just hanging there for at least 3 weeks. He looks so cute without his two front teeth.

Kory and I spent a wonderful relaxing week in Hawaii. Kory got a lot of studying done. I read 5 1/2 books, we visited with some friends and we ate great food. We did make time to take a hike in the mountains, ( my kids couldn't believe I went hiking) walked on the beach and played in the water. I even went snorkeling for the 1st time, and I survived. We had a great trip.

school is out

Hooray school is out!!---- well at least it is for me. I took my last final yesterday (one more semester to go) and now I can enjoy watching the kids go off to school for another month . Jaron is excited because I get to wave to him when the bus passes our house.

We have a busy summer planned already, from basketball camps, scout camps, youth conference, girls camp, moving:( and we have a great vacation planned. Kory and I leave for Hawaii this Friday I'm way excited to spend a week relaxing on the beach, reading, visiting friends, and reading some more. I'm sure my suitcase will be filled with books. I went to the library yesterday and checked out 11 books for the trip.

Stitches

Last Wednesday Jaron found out the hard way, that a wall is stronger and harder than his head. He was at Chris's house and they were playing cops and robbers in the dark (maybe not the smartest thing).

He was the robber and he took off running so Chris would not catch him, but since he was in the dark he did not realize he needed to turn the corner and he ran right into the way. Four stitches later and all is well.

Whats going on......

Kory: .Has finished up this schooling at the UofU and accept a job to teach at PLU (Pacific Lutheran University. He is loving every minute of it. Shortly after we got here he was called as a seminary teacher. (Just happened to be assigned Amandee's seminary teacher) So not only does he get up early to teach he is also teaching 2 night classes, so I don't think he is getting as much sleep as he would like.

Pam:Since I started this blog I can't believe how much our lives have changed.

1. We moved to Utah so Kory could get his PhD

2. I decide that I don't want to be the only family member not in school, so I enroll in classes at Salt Lake Community College.

3. We move to our 2nd house in Utah (moving is never fun)

4. We both graduate from college: Yeah! I did it

5. We move again this time Washington

6. I open Dyed 'N Gone to Heaven hair salon.

7. With this recent move I'm still trying to get used to the......RAIN.

things that have not changed.....

1. I still love to make cards, and read

2. Love watching my kids, in whatever they do...sports, choir concerts.

3. Hanging out my family

Life couldn't get much better... I have a great husband and great kids.

Karla: is a freshman in College, when she left for school, I had a really hard time, and now that is almost time to go and get her for the summer I am so very very excited. I have missed her this past school year. But we are very proud of her. She is having a great time at school, and spending time with her cousin Katie

Amandee:Is a Junior in HS this year with the move she decided that she did not want to try out for the school basketball, so instead she is finding herself very busy with all the different clubs that she joined. Her favorite class this year would be a tie between ASL (American Sign Language) and her drafting class. She still loves her music I find myself having to go into her room after she leaves for school to turn it off. She has not complained to much that now she has early morning seminary.

Nathan: is now in Junior High school UGH do I need to say more. He still knows more sports facts than anyone. He still likes school, and is getting straight A's way to go!! He played flag football for his Jr High team, got to play church basketball this past fall. It was fun watching him play. During one of his basketball games he scored 15 pts.

Jaron: is still the happy go lucky kid!! He has not changed much, his favorite subjects at school are: recess and P.E. and this year he has added Math to that list. He played flag football again this year, and was the star of his team. It was fun watching him! He is in the middle of the baseball season, and loving it (when he gets to play) We have had so many rain outs. We have had more games canceled due to the rain, than we have gotten to play.
