Cowboys and Cowgirls

I had always wanted to go to a

dude ranch for a vacation, so for our anniversary a couple of years ago Kory and I went to the White Stallion Ranch.
It was so much fun getting to dress up and pretend to be cowboys!!! We had the chance to ride 4 to 6 times a day, and loved every minute of it. Kory wanted to give the kids the chance to be around and ride some horses

so at the Brown family reunion we scheduled some time of the kids to ride. At first Jaron did not want to ride but by the end we could not get him off the horse. All 4 of them loved it.

Don't you just love Karla's knees?!? This picture of Karla was taken last year (her sophomore year) mid season she loves the floor. This year her knees are not quite so bad.

Amandee starts sophomore BBall

Check out the video of Amandee (#20). She got her first start of the season, and it just happened to be the 1st game of the regular season. They won 35 to 14.

Pam's Snowman Village

I have this thing for snowmen... but I hate snow, each year I get a new snowman, ok I might get more than one. Nathan counted them all to see how many I had. I only have 139 snowmen I think I could use some more.

Karla starts varsity

Check out the video of Karla starting varsity against Orem if you ask her she will tell you that it is the 1st and last time because she thinks she played poorly.

Whats going on......

Kory: .Has finished up this schooling at the UofU and accept a job to teach at PLU (Pacific Lutheran University. He is loving every minute of it. Shortly after we got here he was called as a seminary teacher. (Just happened to be assigned Amandee's seminary teacher) So not only does he get up early to teach he is also teaching 2 night classes, so I don't think he is getting as much sleep as he would like.

Pam:Since I started this blog I can't believe how much our lives have changed.

1. We moved to Utah so Kory could get his PhD

2. I decide that I don't want to be the only family member not in school, so I enroll in classes at Salt Lake Community College.

3. We move to our 2nd house in Utah (moving is never fun)

4. We both graduate from college: Yeah! I did it

5. We move again this time Washington

6. I open Dyed 'N Gone to Heaven hair salon.

7. With this recent move I'm still trying to get used to the......RAIN.

things that have not changed.....

1. I still love to make cards, and read

2. Love watching my kids, in whatever they do...sports, choir concerts.

3. Hanging out my family

Life couldn't get much better... I have a great husband and great kids.

Karla: is a freshman in College, when she left for school, I had a really hard time, and now that is almost time to go and get her for the summer I am so very very excited. I have missed her this past school year. But we are very proud of her. She is having a great time at school, and spending time with her cousin Katie

Amandee:Is a Junior in HS this year with the move she decided that she did not want to try out for the school basketball, so instead she is finding herself very busy with all the different clubs that she joined. Her favorite class this year would be a tie between ASL (American Sign Language) and her drafting class. She still loves her music I find myself having to go into her room after she leaves for school to turn it off. She has not complained to much that now she has early morning seminary.

Nathan: is now in Junior High school UGH do I need to say more. He still knows more sports facts than anyone. He still likes school, and is getting straight A's way to go!! He played flag football for his Jr High team, got to play church basketball this past fall. It was fun watching him play. During one of his basketball games he scored 15 pts.

Jaron: is still the happy go lucky kid!! He has not changed much, his favorite subjects at school are: recess and P.E. and this year he has added Math to that list. He played flag football again this year, and was the star of his team. It was fun watching him! He is in the middle of the baseball season, and loving it (when he gets to play) We have had so many rain outs. We have had more games canceled due to the rain, than we have gotten to play.
