Basketball Season

Hooray its Basketball Season!! The bad news is.... we only get to watch 40 games this season instead of the 60 games watched last season. Amandee is playing on the Sophomore team (with a possible chance on getting playing time on the JV team) and Karla is playing Varsity. She is 1 of 5 seniors this year. And I'm playing team mom this season....wait I played team mom last year, when will I ever learn????

Amandee had to sit the bench for the 1st game.....she hurt her foot and is trying to get it better. So sad We love you Amandee!!!!

Karla, Hailey and Arielle.....Both Karla and Hailey wish they were taller.

This year the varsity team is a little on the short side... they are playing a 4 guards and 1 post rotation, so far so good we won our first game 64-43.
Karla had 10 points, (2 three pointers) 4 steals, and 1 turnover not too bad for a 1st game. The best part is the next picture......

Karla walking off the court after she FOULED OUT yes you read that correctly she fouled out with 2:12 left in the 4th quarter. Grandpa Erickson told her you get 5 fouls, but you are only supposed to use 4 of them.

Jaron

Jarons football season comes to a end :( I love watching my kids Jaron had a lot of fun this season, Kory helped coach his team again this season. I'm not sure who had more fun Jaron, or Kory.

During one of Nathans football game, Jaron decided it would be fun to climb the tree at the park, good news it ended okay. No broken bones!

Halloween

Okay so it has been a long time since I posted....that is because our computer crashed, and Kory has been trying to get it to work again. He has had no luck so we had to break down a buy a new computer which will be here in a couple of weeks. And since I know so much about Computers....NOT ( every time I ask Kory how to do something on the computer he tells me to take a class so I can learn how to do things on the computer, but I'm too tired to take another class.) So this past weekend I down loaded all my pictures onto the laptop, by myself (mind you that both Karla and Amandee laughed at me the whole time because I kept asking them how to do things.) So hopefully I did something right and I will be able to find the pictures to down loaded.

This year Nathan was a dead baker, and Jaron was a nerd.
So Cute!!

Don't you just love my bullet hole?!? One of my instructors want to do the makeup, but most of the girls had to go to work, and they didn't want to have a bullet hole on their forehead, so I said I would let her do it. It was pretty funny watching everyone take a double take when they saw me. I was walking around the hall at school, and some kid thought it was real, and asked me if it hurt. Kory thought it would be funny to scare the kids, so when each of them came home from school, I would lay on the floor and Kory would be kneeing beside me like I was dead. Karla had the best reaction out of the kids! It was priceless

Whats going on......

Kory: .Has finished up this schooling at the UofU and accept a job to teach at PLU (Pacific Lutheran University. He is loving every minute of it. Shortly after we got here he was called as a seminary teacher. (Just happened to be assigned Amandee's seminary teacher) So not only does he get up early to teach he is also teaching 2 night classes, so I don't think he is getting as much sleep as he would like.

Pam:Since I started this blog I can't believe how much our lives have changed.

1. We moved to Utah so Kory could get his PhD

2. I decide that I don't want to be the only family member not in school, so I enroll in classes at Salt Lake Community College.

3. We move to our 2nd house in Utah (moving is never fun)

4. We both graduate from college: Yeah! I did it

5. We move again this time Washington

6. I open Dyed 'N Gone to Heaven hair salon.

7. With this recent move I'm still trying to get used to the......RAIN.

things that have not changed.....

1. I still love to make cards, and read

2. Love watching my kids, in whatever they do...sports, choir concerts.

3. Hanging out my family

Life couldn't get much better... I have a great husband and great kids.

Karla: is a freshman in College, when she left for school, I had a really hard time, and now that is almost time to go and get her for the summer I am so very very excited. I have missed her this past school year. But we are very proud of her. She is having a great time at school, and spending time with her cousin Katie

Amandee:Is a Junior in HS this year with the move she decided that she did not want to try out for the school basketball, so instead she is finding herself very busy with all the different clubs that she joined. Her favorite class this year would be a tie between ASL (American Sign Language) and her drafting class. She still loves her music I find myself having to go into her room after she leaves for school to turn it off. She has not complained to much that now she has early morning seminary.

Nathan: is now in Junior High school UGH do I need to say more. He still knows more sports facts than anyone. He still likes school, and is getting straight A's way to go!! He played flag football for his Jr High team, got to play church basketball this past fall. It was fun watching him play. During one of his basketball games he scored 15 pts.

Jaron: is still the happy go lucky kid!! He has not changed much, his favorite subjects at school are: recess and P.E. and this year he has added Math to that list. He played flag football again this year, and was the star of his team. It was fun watching him! He is in the middle of the baseball season, and loving it (when he gets to play) We have had so many rain outs. We have had more games canceled due to the rain, than we have gotten to play.
