This past weekend we went and visited our Parents in Pocatello.
When we first arrived to my parents house this conversation was between Jaron and Karla:

Jaron: Look Karla Grandma got a new fridge
Karla: Yes Jaron she did
Jaron: (opens the fridge)"but its the same old food"

Grandma: What kind of food do you want I'll go out and buy you whatever you want.

Nathans 6th grade play

Nathan's class performed the Shakespeare play A Midsummer Nights Dream. They did a great job. Nathan played the character Bottom.

Happy 18th Birthday Karla

Eighteen years ago I got a very special Birthday present in the form of a beautiful daughter. Happy Birthday Karla dear....I can't believe you are already 18. Where oh where did the time go? It seems like yesterday that we were bringing you home from the hospital and dressing you up for you very first picture, and now look at you. You are beautiful and we love you so much Karla!

Game night with Jaron

Last night we sent the girls to mutual and Nathan to scouts, and found ourselves home with Jaron. Kory and I had just finished up a game of Skip-Bo (and I was feeling really nice so I let him win) Jaron was playing on the computer and Kory said lets play Settlers with Jaron. Jaron is just learning how to play so most of the time we play without him. Kory told him if he washed his glasses we would play settlers with him, while I was getting the game Jaron ran off to wash his glasses, and when he raced around the corner he was so happy, you would of thought it was Christmas!


As he was washing his glasses, he said I get to play Settlers--- all my dreams have come true. It was so cute. We had a great time playing with him.

Project

Last week Kory and I decided since basketball was over we needed a new project... so we decided to reupholster the dinning room chairs.

This picture does not really show you how dirty and worn the are but believe me they needed to be replaced.


So we started looking for material and found some that we both liked and went to work. Remember neither one of us has ever done this before but hey how hard could it be? Kory made the comment you know the first chair we do will take us an hour, but by the time we do the last chair (we have 8 chairs) we will have it down and it will only take us 15 minutes. Oh he was so right the first chair took forever, just ask Amandee. She made the mistake of commenting on how long it took us to do only one chair, and she was banned from the house. We love you Amandee! It only took us a couple of days to get all the chairs done. I think we did a pretty good job for 1st timers.
