Getting dressed up and having fun

It was so nice this Halloween season because my kids came up with their own costumes

Amandee was a blast from the past...she found her outfit in Kory's closet

We lived in Utah for 4 years and not once did my kids get a snow day.
Our 1st winter in Washington we have already had 2 snowdays.

Football

Jaron stated the flagfoot ball season as the runningback and kick off returner. By the 3 game he was moved from runningback to the quarterback. He had some great plays Return a kickoff of a TD and he threw for 2 TD's and ran for 2 more. He has a great season.

I used to think that watching football in the snow was the worse well..... I have decided that watching football in the rain in worse because of the way they come home. Very dirty! Oh but Jaron loved every minute of it!!

Nathan played flag football this season for his Jr. High team. He played against some very big kids, but he held his own. Nathan played D-line and linebacker. They only thing that he broke was.........his glasses.

first day of school 2010

I really think the 1st day of school was the hardest for me this year. The end of August I took Karla back to Utah for college. We had a great couple of days, with moving her in and then getting to spend time with my family. Carol was also in Logan helping Katie, get ready for school. Denise, Amber and my parents come also for the weekend we had one really big party! We laughed, cried, and laughed some more! Have fun in College Karla and don't forget you do have to study!

Amandee will be a Jr. this year. Boy how the time flies! She told me that it is hard moving in High School (I'm so glad my parents didn't make me move)what is wrong with your parents Amandee? Amandee is taking ASL (American Sign Language) this year and loving it. She also has early morning seminary, which really should not be a big deal for Amandee because she loves to get up early anyways, and she has the best teacher ever her Dad. Love ya and have a great year!

Nathan is a 7th grader this year. He did inform me the other day that he was not the shortest person in 7th grade. Nathan is taking 3 honor classes this year. Have a great year Nathan and enjoy!

Jaron is in 4th grade. He started off the school year with 38 kids in the both 4th grade class, but since then the school has hired another 4th grade teacher so now he only has 24 kids in his class.

La Push camping trip

I am not a big fan on camping, but sometimes I even surprise my family and agree to go with them. We had so much fun (we got great family pictures) and after that we had a fun camping. There is nothing better than watching the boys play on the beach and getting to enjoy a book. Sorry Kory for not getting any pictures of you. I need to be better about that.

I got to watch this great sunset all by myself...Kory and the kids took the same walk we had earlier that day to see the tidepools and they did not make it back to enjoy the sunset with me.

Family Pictures

I'm very behind in my posting but that is the story of my life! In August we decided that we needed a new family picutres, since the one that is up now is only 7 years old. So of course we took a camping trip to get our family picture. Here are few of my favorites.

Whats going on......

Kory: .Has finished up this schooling at the UofU and accept a job to teach at PLU (Pacific Lutheran University. He is loving every minute of it. Shortly after we got here he was called as a seminary teacher. (Just happened to be assigned Amandee's seminary teacher) So not only does he get up early to teach he is also teaching 2 night classes, so I don't think he is getting as much sleep as he would like.

Pam:Since I started this blog I can't believe how much our lives have changed.

1. We moved to Utah so Kory could get his PhD

2. I decide that I don't want to be the only family member not in school, so I enroll in classes at Salt Lake Community College.

3. We move to our 2nd house in Utah (moving is never fun)

4. We both graduate from college: Yeah! I did it

5. We move again this time Washington

6. I open Dyed 'N Gone to Heaven hair salon.

7. With this recent move I'm still trying to get used to the......RAIN.

things that have not changed.....

1. I still love to make cards, and read

2. Love watching my kids, in whatever they do...sports, choir concerts.

3. Hanging out my family

Life couldn't get much better... I have a great husband and great kids.

Karla: is a freshman in College, when she left for school, I had a really hard time, and now that is almost time to go and get her for the summer I am so very very excited. I have missed her this past school year. But we are very proud of her. She is having a great time at school, and spending time with her cousin Katie

Amandee:Is a Junior in HS this year with the move she decided that she did not want to try out for the school basketball, so instead she is finding herself very busy with all the different clubs that she joined. Her favorite class this year would be a tie between ASL (American Sign Language) and her drafting class. She still loves her music I find myself having to go into her room after she leaves for school to turn it off. She has not complained to much that now she has early morning seminary.

Nathan: is now in Junior High school UGH do I need to say more. He still knows more sports facts than anyone. He still likes school, and is getting straight A's way to go!! He played flag football for his Jr High team, got to play church basketball this past fall. It was fun watching him play. During one of his basketball games he scored 15 pts.

Jaron: is still the happy go lucky kid!! He has not changed much, his favorite subjects at school are: recess and P.E. and this year he has added Math to that list. He played flag football again this year, and was the star of his team. It was fun watching him! He is in the middle of the baseball season, and loving it (when he gets to play) We have had so many rain outs. We have had more games canceled due to the rain, than we have gotten to play.
